What we store about you, why, and what we do not store. This describes what the service actually does, not what we would like you to assume.
1. What we store
Your email address, the password as a value we cannot read back, an optional username, your chosen language, and — if you connect one — your Telegram chat so we can send notices there. On the billing side: your orders, what you paid and how, your balance and every movement in it, and your referral code and who used it. On the service side: which plan you hold, when it expires, and the devices your subscription is currently active on, with any names you gave them.
2. What we do not store
We do not record the sites you visit, your DNS queries, or the content of anything you send through the connection. We do not keep a history of which server you connected to and when. What we can see is the total amount of data your subscription has used, because that is what a data allowance is counted from. We do not sell anything about you to anybody, and there is no advertising or analytics tracker on this site.
3. Why we store it
To deliver the subscription you bought, to take payment for it and keep a record that both of us can check, to answer you when you write to support, and to send the messages the service needs to send — a confirmation code, a receipt, a warning that your plan is about to expire. Nothing here is stored for a purpose we have not named.
4. Who else sees it
Your payment goes through a payment provider, who sees what a payment needs and tells us only whether it succeeded. Our emails are sent by an email provider, which necessarily sees your address and the message. Our servers and databases are run by infrastructure providers who hold the data on our behalf. That is the whole list; we do not pass your details to anyone else, and we would resist any request for them that is not lawful.
5. How long we keep it
Your account and its billing records stay while your account exists — payment records are kept because both of us may need them later. Operational logs are kept for a limited period set by us and then removed. When you ask us to delete your account we remove your personal details and close your subscription; billing records are kept only as long as we are required to, and are stripped of anything identifying you.
6. Your choices
You can change your username, your language and your password from your account settings, and disconnect Telegram there at any time. Write to us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have your account deleted. We answer these ourselves; there is no form to fill in.
